| The first reaction by the Haitian youths would be “what railroads?” Because of lack of research and the ignorant attitude of Haitian “leaders”, most Haitians do not know that Haiti was indeed a country where one could board a train from Port-au-Prince to Saint-Marc or from Saint-Marc to Gonaives, or traveling by train throughout Port-au-Prince was a common thing. From this document provided to Haitianite.com by the author, Allen Morrison, Haitians must wonder whether or not Haiti has a plan of development? Would I not be correct to argue that, in term of development, Haiti has been and continues to take one step forward and three steps backward? Now that you have read the document, let’s show some love to Haiti by urging the Preval/Alexis government to launch a railroad project in Haiti.
